Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Chuck
- 1/2 tbsp Kosher Salt
- 1/2 tbsp Black Pepper
- Half Stick 1/4 cup Butter, softened (+2 tbsp)
- 1 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Rosemary
- 1 tsp Thyme
- Sliced Cheese of Choice
- Toppings of Choice
- 4 Brioche Buns
BURGER AIOLI
- 1/2 cup Mayo
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes 1/2 if spice sensitive
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Pickle Juice
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl combine ground chuck, salt, and pepper and mix well. Once well combined, add butter, garlic, rosemary, and thyme and mix well again
- Form meat into 4 oz balls, place onto plate, cover, and place in freezer
- Whisk together burger aioli ingredients in small bowl, cover and put in cooler or refrigerator
- Heat a large cast iron skillet on high heat, throw in butter, and place balls of meat in skillet leaving plenty of room for pressing
- After 15-30 seconds press down on balls until they are flat, leave to cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip over and add cheese. Once the cheese melts remove patties from skillet and repeat with remaining burger balls
