Red Velvet Brownie

Ingredients

  • 1 stick unsalted butter plus 2 tbsp, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ¼ cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ tablespoon red food coloring 1 ½ tsp
  • 1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
  • Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, and lightly grease.
  • In a large bow, melt butter in 30-45 second intervals, then whisk in the sugar and cocoa powder. Whisk vigorously for 20-30 seconds.
  • Whisk in the egg, vanilla extract and red food coloring.
  • Carefully fold in the flour and salt using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon.
  • Add in the vinegar and white chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean or with a few damp crumbs.
  • Cool the brownies before slicing. Enjoy!
